- 25 to 35 seconds: the case in order over archive photos, a narrator, captions, and an ending on what is still unknown.
- Narrated long video
- 8 to 12 minutes with chapters and a thumbnail (Growth and Pro). We make this format for our driving test channel; we have not made a true crime one yet.
Where the content comes from
Public records first: case pages from the FBI and the courts, and news archives. Photos are public domain or openly licensed. We keep a list of where each fact and picture came from and send it with every batch.
What we will not do
- No gore and no crime scene photos of victims.
- Public, widely reported cases only: we do not name people who were never charged.
- No staged scenes with actors or made-up people: archive photos and simple graphics only.
